Serendiva is a family venture of Waruna and Nishanthi Kulasena, an artist duo who specialize in creating stunning home decor pieces inspired by the traditional Sri Lankan artwork from the Kandyan era.

Our Story
After working as a Civil Engineer in the corporate sector (including Maga Engineering and Nawaloka Constructions), Waruna started his own construction business in 1997. He met Nishanthi the same year, and they got married in 1998.
We started creating home decor in 2000, to be used in the houses Waruna was building for clients. Over the past two decades, we have slowly increased our focus on home decor, and now it has eclipsed our construction business.
Waruna is a graduate of University of Moratuwa, and Nishanthi is a graduate of University of Peradeniya. We live in the Gampaha District, Sri Lanka.
